Just recently, I had seen the movie "Nerve" starring Emma Roberts and Dave Franco. The plot followed high school senior, Vee, entering a game titled "Nerve" where you must complete dares to earn money and enter the finals. Vee, trying to step outside of her comfort zone, plans to only participate in one dare until she meets another player, Ian, whom she falls in love with. Together, they play the game to the finals when the dares becomes extremely dangerous and life-threatening. But when Vee and Ian are dared to shoot each other, they must find a way out before death catches them first. This movie had a really great plot line, and it ended really well. The ending was actually my favorite part, because it was so unexpected. It doesn't have amazing reviews, but it was a good movie. It could have been better, I believe, but overall, I enjoyed it. I had just figured out that the film was adapted from a novel which I had been interested in reading, until I saw its horrible reviews. There was even one review that said it was one of those rare moments where the film is better than the book. So, I honestly would never recommend a book like that. But if you decide to watch Nerve, I hope all goes well for you like me!
